Holloway III and Company set out to develop St. Honoré, a boutique residential enclave within an established neighborhood in Wayne, PA, this long-time partner turned to Brubacher based on trust in our team’s capabilities and commitment to quality. From the very start of our collaboration for this project in early 2023, our team has customized services and contributed Insight. On Site. at every stage to exceed client expectations. A particular commitment to excellence in project management has been vital to this fine-tuned approach to all aspects of sitework, from lot excavation and utility installations to the deployment of innovative stormwater systems.

“At St. Honoré, our scope of work has included all the standard services we typically provide for residential developments, such as installing sanitary, stormwater, and water pipes, as well as curbing, stone, and paving. Additionally, we have advanced many custom solutions tailored to the client’s needs, such as excavation and backfill for individual lot basements.  The St. Honoré project has not been without its challenges. Brubacher has brought considerable value through strategic risk management, logistical coordination, and clear, ongoing communication. Because the subdivision is being integrated into the fabric of an existing residential development, changes to the client’s plans have arisen at various points, requiring a high degree of flexibility and problem-solving skills on the part of the Brubacher team.

When a significant issue arose with an existing sanitary line, the Brubacher team adapted quickly to the evolving project needs. Josh S. shared, “As utility work has progressed, we discovered a neighboring home had tied its garage into the existing sanitary line, which caused complications as we prepared to cut into it. Rerouting this line has added complexity, but our crews have dug into creating solutions and have kept progress moving steadily forward.”

Another unique aspect of the project was rain tank system installation for stormwater management. It should be noted that these systems are intricate and labor-intensive, involving thousands of small, detailed components that had to be assembled on-site, but the team was eager to learn something new to best meet the client’s needs. Josh S. stated, “This was a new challenge for us, as we hadn’t encountered this exact system before. In light of this and other unexpected things that have come up, I’m proud of our team’s ability to handle the complexities of this project while maintaining a strong relationship with the client.”
