Positive Drainage and Ash Impoundment Site Improvements Achieve Energy Goals

To successfully advance clean energy infrastructure on a closed ash impoundment site in Holtwood, PA, our team provided stabilization, grading, and drainage improvements to accomplish energy goals for Talen Energy Supply, LLC. Early construction surveying, land clearing and demolition, and excavation and grading services all contributed to the regrading of this site, which achieved positive drainage to eliminate potential hazardous runoff.

During this project, our team provided Insight. On Site. from start to finish, helping mitigate risk and providing solutions around every turn. From managing a clean fill cap over the existing coal ash to coordinating with other industry partners and collaborating with our trusted subcontractor (for building a concrete cut-off wall in the existing basin berm), our team stayed focused on achieving the high-quality results that we promise. In the end, this important environmental project was completed on time and on budget.
