Congratulations to Alan Houck, Environmental Health & Safety Field Specialist for passing the Associate Safety Professionals (ASP) exam. This exam consisted of professional levels of safety duties such as making worksite assessments to determine risks, hazards and controls, evaluating risk and hazard control measures, investigating incidents, maintaining and evaluating incident records, and preparing emergency response plans.

Alan Houck received his certificate January 11th, 2017. His work duties are to provide environmental, health and safety assistance to field personnel for the implementation of company safety, compliance and environmental programs and policies.  June 2017 will mark Alan’s tenth year with Brubacher Excavating. Well done Alan!

2017 Training

Brubacher provides training to our field employees, supervisors and department managers on an annual basis. Training started in January and will continue through the end of February. Classes consist of MSHA Refresher, Trenching and Excavating, Confined Space Training, Forklift, Flagging, First Aid Training, and Rigging. Qualified, competent team members who are equipped with the knowledge and tools to do their work safely are critical to our mutual success.
